چکیده

Recently, supply networks have attracted increasing attention from the scientific community. However, it lacks serious consideration of social preference in Supply Chain Management. In this paper, we develop an evolutionary decision-making model to characterize the effects of suppliers’ altruism in supply networks, and find that the performances of both suppliers and supply chains are improved by introducing the role of altruism. Furthermore, an interesting and reasonable phenomenon is discovered that the suppliers’ and whole network’s profits do not change monotonously with suppliers’ altruistic preference, η, but reach the best at η = 0.6 and η = 0.4, respectively. This work may shed some light on the in-depth understanding of the effects of altruism for both research and commercial applications. © 2011 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

A Multi Objective Graph Based Model for Analyzing Survivability of Vulnerable Networks

In the various fields of disaster management, choosing the best location for the Emergency Support & Supply Service Centers (ESSSCs) and the survivability of the network that provides the links between ESSSCs and their environment has a great role to be paid enough attention. This paper introduces a graph based model to measure the survivability of the linking's network. By values computed for ...

Centralized Supply Chain Network Ddesign: Monopoly, Duopoly, and Ooligopoly Competitions under Uncertainty

This paper presents a competitive supply chain network design problem in which one, two, or three supply chains are planning to enter the price-dependent markets simultaneously in uncertain environments and decide to set the prices and shape their networks. The chains produce competitive products either identical or highly substitutable. Fuzzy multi-level mixed integer programming is used to mo...

A multi-objective evolutionary approach for integrated production-distribution planning problem in a supply chain network

Integrated production-distribution planning (PDP) is one of the most important approaches in supply chain networks. We consider a supply chain network (SCN) to consist of multi suppliers, plants, distribution centers (DCs), and retailers. A bi-objective mixed integer linear programming model for integrating production-distribution designed here aim to simultaneously minimize total net costs in ...

Determining water quality along the river with using evolutionary artificial neural networks (Case Study, Karoon River , Shahid Abbaspur-Arab Asad reach)

Rivers are important as the main source of supply for drinking, agriculture and industry. However, drinking water quality in terms of qualitative parameters, is the most important variable. Studias and predicting  changes in quality parameters along a river, are one of the goals of water resources planners and managers. In this regard, many water quality models in order to maintain better water ...
